CATALAN IDENTITY: THE THESIS CREATED BY WOODY ALLEN

Dear Mr Woody Allen,
In your film, VICKY CRISTINA BARCELONA you mention a thesis on CATALAN IDENTITY.
As that thesis does not exist yet, I just want to tell you that I have created this website
to support that thesis so that the next time that a great director like you comes to Barcelona,
he or she may know that in Barcelona we have, besides, Gaudí, also a Catalan language.
By the way, did you know that Gaudí was arrested because he decided just to speak Catalan once?
The release of Vicky Cristina Barcelona in the US may bring some interest about Catalan identity as Catalan identity is the thesis of Vicky. I hope that viewrs of VCB realise that VCB that not give a true vision of Barcelona. In Barcelona we spoke also Catalan!

All the comments I read from people from Barcelona who have seen the film seem to agree in being upset by the lack of the Catalan language in the film. I am afraid that this aspect becomes so important in Barcelona that we may enjoy the film not so much as other people. Besides, we already know the Gaudí buildings and Barcelona and just to imagine that the film may bring even more tourists makes me feel not quite happy as the center of the city is already a no-go zone for locals (at least I find very disturbing to be in a hurry to go to work and not be able to move through the center of Barcelona because is full of tourists who occupy the whole center …)
I want to add that I am not against the tourists ( I also like to travel) I am just again that Barcelona has become a theme park to the benefit of just some and the inconvinience of most of us.
